I offer heartfelt, non-sectarian and creative funeral services, that honour the life of the person who has died, and support the family and friends present.
The death of someone we love, or are close to, is a pivotal moment. We are often jolted out of our ‘normal’ and our daily preoccupations can feel much less important, at least for a while. The death can trigger the pain of grief, the sharp edge of loss, as well as confusion, denial, numbness, anger and, at times, relief.
It is my role to help you navigate this poignant and uncertain time, and to prepare for the funeral service/ celebration of life.
This will offer a space to honour and grieve the loss of your loved one, while also being a celebration of their unique life and gifts. I will work with you to help craft the celebration using chosen stories or anecdotes of your loved one, with suitable music, poems and readings.
I guide funeral services whether in a crematorium, or natural burial site, or elsewhere. Furthermore, I am happy to travel through Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire or Powys, or potentially elsewhere.
Our family will be forever grateful to you, Chris, for your kindness and empathy as you guided us through
the funeral process.You gave us the time and space we needed.
You listened to us and our wishes, as we told you about our mother, her life and whoshe was as a person.
Consequently, the service was very personal, intimate and delivered in a calm and considered manner. Your organisational skills meant
it all went to plan and we were able to say goodbye to our mother in the most beautiful way possible. Thank you.
